🔐 About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable, calm, and team-oriented individual to join our Security team as a Dual-Rate Security Guard — a unique opportunity to take on both frontline guard duties and occasional supervisory responsibilities.

In this transitional role, you’ll continue to work alongside your peers and step into a leadership role on an as-needed basis, depending on departmental coverage requirements. Scheduling is based on operational needs and requires the ability to work days and nights, weekdays and weekends. When acting as a Supervisor it may follow a rotational shift pattern that ensures experience across days, nights, and weekends.

Example Schedule:

• Day 1–2: Day shifts, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Day 3–4: Night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Day 5–8: Days off
  (This 8-day cycle then repeats, providing exposure to all operational periods.)

✅ What You’ll Do

On Regular Shifts (Guard Duties):

• Patrol the casino property and respond to incidents
• Provide friendly, discreet, and professional service to all guests
• Document occurrences and complete detailed written reports
• Maintain consistent visibility and uphold security standards

When Acting as Supervisor (as needed):

• Coordinate the security response during medical or behavioral incidents
• Support and coach other guards on-shift when needed
• Liaise with Surveillance, Operations, and department managers
• Monitor shift coverage, radio discipline, and team accountability
• Ensure all safety and service expectations are met

• Can lead respectfully without creating distance from the team
• Gives clear direction and feedback when acting in a leadership role
• Wants to grow professionally and is open to coaching and feedback
• Can shift between team member and acting supervisor without friction

⚠️ Requirements

• Prior experience as a Security Guard
• Excellent attendance and a consistent track record of professionalism
• Able to work a rotational schedule (days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, completing extended patrols, and assisting with snow removal or other urgent physical tasks
• Comfortable stepping into a leadership role when requested
