Street Culture Project is looking for a creative, values-aligned Content Marketing & Social Media Specialist to help us amplify our message, strengthen our brand identity, and share the impact of our work with the community.
If you’re passionate about visual storytelling, design, and capturing the real moments that bring an organization’s mission to life — we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll shape how SCP shows up in the world — visually, digitally, and narratively. You’ll create compelling, accessible, and consistent content that reflects our values, celebrates our outcomes, and builds strong relationships with supporters online. Oversee social media platforms for Street Culture Project and SCP Construction, including content strategy, posting schedules, audience engagement, and campaign execution.
Content Creation
- Develop engaging content for social platforms (video, photo, graphics, reels, stories, posts).
- Write clear, compelling captions aligned with the brand voice.
- Create content calendars and plan weekly/monthly posting schedules.
- Capture on-site content at events, programs, community days, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Maintain and refine SCP’s brand guidelines to ensure consistency.
- Produce short-form and long-form content tailored for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Social Media Management
- Manage daily posting across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Monitor comments, messages, and engagement; respond promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a consistent brand presence and aesthetic across all channels.
- Track platform trends and adapt content to stay current.
Photography, Videography & Story Capture
· Attend SCP events, programs, work shifts (e.g., social enterprise, Safe Café, construction sites, youth programs) to capture photos, videos, and real-time moments.
· Document activities and success stories that highlight SCP’s culture, community impact, and youth programming.
· Edit and produce high-quality marketing-ready content from captured footage (short videos, reels, web visuals, promotional materials).
· Collaborate with the Social Enterprise Team to showcase products, staff, youth employment stories, and behind-the-scenes operations.
Analytics & Growth
- Monitor insights and analytics to measure performance and growth.
- Optimize content based on engagement data.
- Provide monthly reports with recommendations and key takeaways.
Communications Coordination
- Work with leadership to ensure messaging aligns with organizational goals.
- Support integrated communication strategies and fundraising campaigns.
- Coordinate stewardship communications with donors, funders, partners, and supporters.
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who is creative, organized, and able to capture stories through strong visual design. You understand how to turn real moments into compelling content — and you care about accuracy, consistency, and community impact.
- Education or proven experience in graphic design, visual communications, or multimedia
- 3+ years of design and content creation experience with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Canva for creating visuals, posts, and reels
- Ability to capture and edit high-quality photos and videos
- Experience managing social media platforms - Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and LinkedIn.
- Knowledge of or experience working with scheduling tools such as Hootsuite.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Additional Requirements
· Valid SK Driver’s License with clean abstract
· Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance
