ASSOCIATE LAWYER - COMMERCIAL LITIGATION | INSOLVENCY & RESTRUCTURING

We are seeking an associate lawyer with 2-5 years of experience in commercial litigation, insolvency & restructuring, creditors rights and/or construction litigation. • Able to manage a diverse caseload, with a focus on corporate/commercial litigation, insolvency, restructuring, creditors’ rights, and construction litigation.

• Able to conduct thorough legal research, and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents.

• Participate in applications, questionings, hearings, and trials, providing strategic support and representation.

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.

• Ensure compliance with all court requirements and deadlines.

• Ability to quickly grasp supporting software tools, and standardized process. (HGA Law is a technology-forward firm and aims to continuously evolve its technological tools and firm process).

• A member in good standing of the Law Society of Alberta; eligible to practice as a lawyer in Alberta.

• Called to the bar in 2022 or earlier.
