Director, Benefits & Retirement

How you will Impact PLATFORM
The successful candidate will provide service excellence to our customers and insurance markets by servicing and maintaining the existing portfolio. How you will be Successful
·       Lead the development, maintenance and evaluation of group benefits and retirement policies and programs

·       Prepare communications related to benefits and retirement policies and processes

·       Address complex queries relating to benefits and retirement policies and processes, administration, process and billing from internal and external clients

·       Act as a liaison between employees, health plan administrators, and healthcare providers to assist in communicating benefit and policy information

·       Assist with billing, coverage issues, benefits enrollment, and life events

·       Complete requests for amendments, including updating client booklets

·       Maintain a high level of professionalism and sense of urgency to ensure client and/or participant expectations are consistently met

Education, Experience, and Qualifications
·       University degree or college diploma

·       5+ years of experience in group benefits, including client service and plan administration

·       Successful completion of CEBS, GBA or similar preferred

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Team orientation with strong interpersonal skills

·       Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

·       Ability to maintain posed, patient, empathetic and tactful while handling sensitive issues

·       Ability to handle and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and with great ease
