The Role

As a Scream Master, you will be responsible for managing one of our haunted attractions while directing and supporting our actors in maintaining the story and integrity of the Haunt. You will work closely with the Performance Managers, Scare Actors, the Tech Team & the Production Manager to execute the delivery of every daytime and night performance. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Liaise with the Production Manager to ensure operations of the attraction and safety protocols are being met during operational hours
• Liaise with the Performance Manager regarding any Actor and/or Haunt performance issues 
• Liaise with the Production Manager to ensure technical elements are in good working order prior to performance
• Complete the opening and closing procedures of your haunt safely and efficiently
• Ensure all actors are present for their shift, and assist makeup and wardrobe departments by ensuring your actors are following the getting ready procedure 
• Perform well-being checks on each actor continuously throughout each shift
• Arrange and manage actor break rotations to ensure adequate rest and lunch breaks are taken
• Follow safety protocols and communicate with Operations and the safety team should any issues arise, be the point-of-contact between actors and the safety/security teams
• Being readily available during your shift to address any safety concerns that may arise
• Ensure high guest satisfaction and experience by attending to guest questions and concerns to ensure a positive experience for all guests
• Provide support, motivation & feedback to your Haunt team, including actors, tech, and Front of House staff
• Perform other related duties as assigned
