Wage: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Kokanee Springs Resort is seeking a skilled Golf Course Equipment Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of golf course maintenance equipment. This role is essential to ensuring the course is presented at the highest standards and provides golfers with consistent, high-quality playing conditions.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair golf course equipment, including ride-on mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, skid steers, golf carts, and small engines.
• Perform preventative maintenance and monthly inspections.
• Maintain and sharpen mowing heads (blades, reels, bedknives).
• Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Source and price parts and supplies; prepare purchase orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
• Assist with other golf course maintenance duties as required.

• Certification as a Golf & Turf Equipment Technician with 2+ years of experience preferred; equivalent mechanical experience accepted.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg and performing detailed manual work.
• Welding and fabrication skills are an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email communication.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Steel-toe boots required; work clothing recommended (coveralls, gloves, rain gear).
