We are dedicated to preserving the timeless art of sport fishing while nurturing the next generation of anglers. Our mission is to provide an unparalleled luxury fishing experience that not only immerses our guests in the natural beauty of our surroundings but also instills a deep appreciation for fishing and the environment.
Contract length is from mid-May to mid-September.
Get to know us:
Drive west along one of the most scenic highways in Canada through the spectacular mountainous landscape of Strathcona Park and the village of Gold River towards Tahsis. Approximately 2 hours by road from Campbell River on Vancouver Island is Moutcha Bay Resort, on the waters of Nootka Sound.
Requirements for Guest Services Supervisor:
Minimum of 2 years Guest Services or Front Desk experience.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal communication and good memory.
Numeracy and computer literacy with a strong command of Microsoft Office suite.
Experience using hospitality booking software (preferably Maestro).
Leadership experience.
Duties of Guest Services Supervisor:
Proactively act as an ambassador for the resort with a professional, warm, and welcoming demeanor.
Greet and welcome guests to the resort, answer their questions, problem solve, and offer guests assistance whenever and wherever needed.
Operate point of sale system and property management software (Maestro).
Make reservations and check guests in and out of the resort.
Manage the float, purchasing transactions, and daily cash-outs at the front desk and gift shop.
Oversee the organization, staffing, and workflow of the Guest Services department.
