Summary:
Turf Care staff work collaboratively to deliver exceptional playing conditions for our members and their guests. With a strong focus on detail and pride in their work, the team maintains all aspects of the golf course and surrounding outdoor spaces to the highest standard. As an operator your primary tasks will involve mowing turf on various ride on equipment.
Available Positions:
· Part-time; Seasonal; starting May to end of October.
Schedule:
· Part-Time; Starting at $18/Hr, 20-30 hours per week.
· 6-hour shifts
· Early mornings and weekend work is required.
Responsibilities
· Work as a member of the Turf Care Team maintaining all aspects of the golf course and club property.
· Responsibilities include mowing of finely maintained turf such as fairways, mowing of rough, and mowing of surrounds.
· Safely operate equipment used to complete on course tasks.
· Completion of designated tasks that meet standards set out by Turf Care Management.
· Appreciate and adhere to the club’s mission and values.
· Maintain cleanliness of equipment and all work areas.
Skills and Qualifications
· Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
· Ability to understand basic mechanical functions and identify when equipment is not operating correctly.
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
· Quick learner and great attention to detail.
· Ability to understand the game of golf.
· Golf course experience is an asset but not required.
