About us
East Bay Pharmacy is an independently owned closed door pharmacy overlooking the beautiful city of Fall River. Opening in early 2022, East Bay Pharmacy is quickly becoming one of the area's trusted pharmacy choices for residential care programs and assisted living communities.
We are seeking a motivated pharmacist to become a part of our team! You will verify and ensure fulfillment of orders per facility, provide clinical consultations for program staff, and help supervise technician work on the premises.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medication and other healthcare products for delivery to residents of long term care and other residential facilities
- Accurately verify prescriptions and packaging, according to prescription orders and facility policies
- Process prescription refills upon staff request, using computer software
- Consult residential program staff on clinical questions and concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in high volume pharmacy (preferred)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
