Cashier

Our Georgetown location is currently seeking a Part-Time Cashier to join our team. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individual who enjoys helping customers and working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Evening and weekend availability is required.

• Greet customers as they enter and exit the store
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service in person and over the phone
• Direct phone calls and customer inquiries to the appropriate team members
• Assist customers with questions and help direct them throughout the store

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Verify payment methods and ensure payments are completed correctly
• Handle cash, receipts, and other transaction documentation responsibly
• Balance and maintain cash drawer procedures as required

• Keep cashier and customer service areas clean, organized, and presentable
• Restock merchandise and assist with inventory replenishment as needed
• Ensure displays and products are neat, organized, and properly maintained
• Monitor displays and storage areas and report any safety concerns or hazards

• Assist other departments as required
• Support general store operations and special projects as assigned

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Building materials or hardware industry knowledge is considered an asset
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs when required 

• Part-time hours
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends
