Lead Installer - Residential HVAC

We are seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our growing team in Ottawa, ON. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who can take charge of residential installations, lead a crew, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead installation of heat-pump based residential HVAC installation
• Supervise and mentor junior installers and helpers
• Keep accurate records all required pre-inspection and post-installation paperwork
• Ensure all work complies with Ontario codes and safety regulations
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members on-site
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition

Required Qualifications:

• Must hold one of the following certifications:
  • 313D Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic License
  • G2 Gas Technician License
• Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and installation best practices
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and lead a team
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Assets (Optional)

• Holding both 313D and G2 certifications an asset
• Sheet metal experience
• Experience with heat pumps and high-efficiency systems
• ODP certification
• Leadership or supervisory experience
