Crew Transport Driver

Dawson Civil is looking to hire Crew Transport Drivers to assist with our shuttling needs.

In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson Civil, working in a temporary, full-time position of Crew Transport Driver, reporting to the Superintendent.  The crew will be on varying day and night shifts on a rotational schedule of 14/7. Your base location will be Princeton, BC. and will require some travel throughout our great province.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

• Must be dependable and reliable
• Prioritize safety at all times by driving defensively and staying alert to road, weather, and traffic conditions
• Maintain a professional and respectful environment for all passengers
• Be dependable, punctual, and flexible to accommodate shift changes or delays
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any issues to the supervisors
• Accurately complete daily driver logs, trip records, and fueling reports
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding schedule changes, delays, or incidents

WHAT YOU BRING

• Valid Class 1, 2 or 4 driver’s license 
• Clean driving record and strong commitment to safe driving practices
• Experience driving passengers (shuttle, bus, or van) is an asset
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and ability to operate in varying weather and road conditions
• First Aid certification is an asset
• Strong reliability, time management, and organizational skills
• Clear verbal communication skills and basic written reporting ability
• Ability to work flexible hours
