About the OpportunityPolaron Comfort is looking for experienced, licensed HVAC Installation Technicians to join our growing subcontractor network. As an independent contractor, you'll be assigned residential installation jobs across our service area — furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and tankless water heaters — representing Polaron on-site with the professionalism and quality our customers expect.
This is a project-based opportunity best suited for established tradespeople who are equipped, licensed, and ready to hit the ground running.
What You'll Be Doing- Completing residential HVAC installations in compliance with manufacturer specifications, Ontario Building Code, and TSSA/ESA regulations
- Representing Polaron professionally on every job site — clean work, no property damage, strong communication with homeowners
- Coordinating with our operations team on scheduling, job updates, and quality assurance checkpoints
- Submitting all required documentation through our assigned system: job photos, serial numbers, permits, and completion reports
- Delivering a consistently positive customer experience from arrival to sign-off

- Professionalism: Uniformed appearance, respectful communication, and a customer-first attitude on every visit
- Quality Workmanship: All installations must meet Polaron and manufacturer standards and pass QA inspection before payment is released
- Reliability: Arrive within scheduled windows, complete jobs on time, and keep the operations team informed
- Compliance: Valid credentials and insurance must remain current at all times — no exceptions
- Documentation: All photos, permits, and reports must be submitted promptly upon job completion
- Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Valid G2 or G1 Gas Technician license (TSSA registered)
- ODP certification
- Own tools, vehicle, and a valid Ontario driver's license
- $2M minimum general liability insurance
- Valid WSIB clearance certificate
