About the Role
As the Production & Logistics Scheduler, you will report to the Product Line Manager and support the full lifecycle of our manufacturing operations. You’ll be responsible for production planning, internal coordination, procurement execution, and outbound logistics. Your ability to adapt, prioritize, and communicate across departments will directly impact the success of our builds and shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Production Scheduling & Coordination
- Monitor production orders in SAP and update schedules based on materials, staffing, and priority shifts
- Communicate production timelines and changes to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Lead weekly schedule updates and support cross-functional meetings with engineering, purchasing, and operations
- Track key scheduling KPIs like on-time delivery rates and backlog analysis
Logistics & Supply Coordination
- Coordinate shipments of buildings, steel skids, genset enclosures, and other components
- Manage documentation and tracking for all outgoing shipments
- Collaborate with purchasing and inventory teams to avoid material shortages or production delays
- Assist with SAP data entry and reporting
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain clean and organized office and digital records (SAP, Google Drive, etc.)
- Ensure adequate office and material supply inventory
- Perform occasional runner duties such as transporting materials or documents between locations
- Support general operations and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Background in logistics coordination or production scheduling (manufacturing/industrial preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
- On-site role in both office and production settings
- Frequent movement between departments and hands-on support as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; PPE including safety glasses and steel-toe boots required
- Noise exposure and standing for extended periods may be required
- Occasional overtime depending on operational needs
