Casino Security Officer

Are you a night owl?

We are looking for a professional security officer who thrives on working independently, but also enjoys teamwork.  This permanent part-time role will be required to work overnights from 1:00 am to 9:00 or 11: 00 am for 16 - 32 hours per week.  These shifts are eligible for an overnight premium of additional hourly rate.

This integral role in our casino bridges the gap between the closing and opening shifts. As such, this role is responsible for the security of the premises and the safety of the overnight custodial crew. This position will also work as part of a team when the casino is operational.

Below, is a brief overview of the duties:

•        Maintains the security of the staff and the facility while the casino is closed
•          Ensures equipment is functioning properly and generating computer reports as required
•          Provides upbeat and focused customer service during operational hours (2-3 hours per shift)
•          Respond to any first aid calls

Have you got what we need?

•          Must be of legal age to work in a casino
•          1-3 years of customer service and security experience
•          Gaming Security Officer certification will be required
•          BST (Basic Security Training) and Security License is an asset
•          Must have solid computer skills
