POSITION SUMMARY
Under
the direction of the President, the Business Development Manager will be
responsible for finding and landing NEW business to LMI. You will be responsible for landing new accounts,
as we launch an exciting new product line.
You will need to be strategic, possess high emotional intelligence,
including the ability to connect with people, to ultimately drive results! The ideal candidate is a true team player
that understands and supports our company values, mission and vision with a commitment
and dedication to the LMI team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent LMI Packaging through various prospecting methods including, but not limited to, phone, online/web meetings, customer visits and trade shows.
- Possess a team first attitude, showing the ability to work well with others, demonstrate a positive mindset, and a willingness to continue to learn and grow.
- Elevate the customer experience with strong communication skills, both internal and external. Communication strengths to include: high level of engagement, strong listening skills and personability. Must be a problem solver with strong interpersonal skills.
- Opportunity hunter with ability to engage, network and make connections in prospecting new customer accounts.
- Continued education and learning of new markets and opportunities. Direct focus on selling new product offerings and filling capacity.
- Learn and maintain understanding of materials, sizes and product segments.
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3-5 years office, sales and/or customer interaction roles.
- Proven ability to generate new business and land new customers.
- Knowledge of Pressure-Sensitive Label industry preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
