Facility Service Supervisor

TaylorMade Enterprise LLC, a family-owned commercial cleaning and facility services company, is seeking a dependable, hands-on Janitorial Supervisor. We need a leader who sets clear expectations, coaches employees, and ensures our customers receive consistent, professional service.

Position Summary

The Janitorial Supervisor oversees daily cleaning operations at assigned facilities and reports to the Regional Manager or designated Operations Manager. This is a working supervisor position that includes inspecting work, supporting employees, and performing cleaning duties when needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

● Assign daily cleaning tasks and confirm employees understand their responsibilities.

● Monitor attendance, staffing coverage, and completion of assigned work.

● Inspect restrooms, offices, breakrooms, entrances, common areas, and other assigned spaces.

● Identify cleaning deficiencies, arrange corrections, and verify the work meets TaylorMade standards.

● Train employees on cleaning procedures, equipment use, chemical dilution, required contact times, and cross-contamination prevention.

● Reinforce proper use of personal protective equipment, chemical labels, and Safety Data Sheets.

● Coach employees respectfully, recognize strong performance, and document concerns for management.

● Perform cleaning duties and help cover staffing shortages as needed.

● Monitor supplies, request approved products, and help prevent waste.

● Check equipment condition and report maintenance or repair needs.

● Complete inspection reports, checklists, attendance records, and incident reports accurately.

● Respond professionally to customer concerns and promptly communicate unresolved issues to management.

● Follow facility security, confidentiality, access, and key-control procedures.

● Report injuries, hazards, property damage, and unusual conditions promptly.

● Follow up on service issues until corrective actions are complete.

Qualifications

● Previous commercial janitorial or custodial experience required.

● Previous supervisor or team-lead experience preferred.

● Knowledge of commercial cleaning methods and safe chemical handling.

● Ability to lead by example, give clear instructions, and provide constructive feedback.

● Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

● Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to assigned work locations.

● Ability to use a smartphone or computer for schedules, inspections, photos, and reports.

● Floor-care or healthcare cleaning experience is a plus.

● Willingness to complete TaylorMade’s required training and applicable facility screening requirements.

Physical and Scheduling Requirements

This position involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing cleaning equipment, and handling supplies throughout the shift. Candidates must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work schedules depend on the assigned account and may include evenings, nights, or weekends.
