Marketing Director
EDMO is looking for a Marketing Director to oversee all strategy, communication, and project management for our organization. This person is responsible for contributing to the development of the overall marketing plan and measuring the return on investment of various initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in cross-functional and collaborative organizations and is driven by the impact that they and their team create together.
Responsibilities include:
Serve as overall Project Manager for EDMO marketing - across all internal/external parties participating; including but not limited to: peer point person and close collaborator with the Matterlab Partnership Manager (our external marketing partner)
- Lead search engine optimization (SEO)
- Lead search engine marketing (SEM)
- Set goals and objectives for various marketing initiatives with clear KPIs and measurables
- Lead analytics and reporting - including Google Analytics, heatmap analysis, and all metrics to analyze ROI
- Lead advertising strategy
- Oversee all paid media
- Track trends and monitor competitor activity
- Oversee customer surveys including creation, collection, and analysis
- Attend all relevant meetings and report to and communicate with other departments as needed
- Manage annual marketing budget
- Serve as PR representative for the organization, managing press releases and media requests

Manages: Marketing Manager, Outside Marketing Partners
Qualifications:

- 5+ years in content marketing, paid digital marketing, and lead generation
- Deep understanding of growth/product marketing
- Oversight of marketing analytics and strategic reporting
- Development and execution of marketing programs
- Versed in studying market conditions, competitors' activities, and consumer behavior
- Proven track record of successful lead nurture
- Familiarity with Hubspot software
- Experience managing a team and/or external partners
- Comfortable with self management and working remotely
- Openness to be flexible with strong problem solving and multitasking skills
- Willing to work in line with PST scheduling regardless of location

Full-Time - remote role
Ideal Start Date: February 1st
Must be fully vaccinated with the COVID19 vaccine to work with EDMO.
Must be willing to travel up to 3 times a year for in person retreats (paid for by the organization).
