Machine operator
The Machine Operator is responsible for running and maintaining the wet-end of a
molded fiber production line—from recycled paper stock preparation through forming and
transfer to the dryer conveyor. This role is the “driver” of the process and requires strong
mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically in real time. Pulp
molding is a specialized industry with a steep learning curve; we will train the right
candidate who is smart, inquisitive, and willing to ask questions and learn the science of
the process.
This job is not highly labor-intensive day-to-day, but it is technically demanding. Success
comes from understanding process cause-and-effect, monitoring the HMI/PLC, listening to
the machine, and making smart adjustments to maintain consistent, high-quality product.
This is a part time position Saturday and Sunday 9pm to 5am.
