Manufacturing Lead (Metal Manufacturing)

We operate a full-service lumber yard and manufacture our own metal siding, trim, and roofing. We are looking for a Manufacturing Team Lead to join our metal production department. This is a hands-on role where you will work alongside a small team of operators, helping keep production on track and ensuring quality and safety in daily operations.

This role is not a manager position — it’s a working lead role suited for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys pitching in, guiding teammates, and making sure the job gets done right.

• Work with a small group of team members in the metal manufacturing area.

• Help assign daily tasks, keep production moving, and ensure quality checks are followed.

• Operate and assist with equipment such as roll formers, slitters, and trim breaks.

• Monitor workflow and communicate any issues or delays to the planner or supervisor.

• Support training of new team members on basic processes and safety practices.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Step in wherever needed — this is a hands-on role with leadership responsibility.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years manufacturing experience preferred.

• Experience with roll formers, slitters, trim breaks, or similar equipment.

• Forklift experience preferred.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to stay organized and keep a small team on task.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, production environment.

• Starting at $18.00/hr (commensurate with experience & skills).

• Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm (additional hours as needed).
