Host- Eggs Up Grill
Purpose
To greet guests with a warm and welcoming environment, to assist with any menu questions and to-go orders.
Essential Job Functions
Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:
· Extend a warm and friendly greeting to all guest.
· Explain menu items and answer product question as raised by guest
· Take food and drink orders from guest accurately and with a positive attitude
· Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and guests
· Relay the correct order to kitchen personnel or staff
· Engage with guests in a friendly manner
· Package food and drinks for the guest in a timely manner
· Complete all side work which includes various cleaning tasks (busing tables, rolling silverware, etc.)
· Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks as needed
· Must follow the guidelines stated in the grooming standards policy
· Communicate openly, timely and honestly with subordinates, superiors and all others about plans, progress and problems.
· To always be approachable, coachable and have a good positive attitude
Non-Essential Job Functions
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
· Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:
o Walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
· Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for:
o Making observations
o Communicating with others
o Reading and writing
