Position Summary

The Food Runner / Server Assistant plays a vital role in creating an elevated dining experience for our members and guests. This position supports the front-of-house team by ensuring food is delivered promptly, accurately, and professionally while maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, takes pride in guest service, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately while maintaining presentation standards
• Assist servers with table maintenance, water service, clearing plates, and resetting tables
• Ensure all dishes are delivered to the correct guests and described appropriately when needed
• Support smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and expo lines
• Assist with polishing silverware, glassware, and preparing service supplies
• Anticipate member and guest needs to provide attentive and seamless service
• Support event service, banquets, and private dining functions as needed
• Uphold Citizen House service standards and hospitality expectations at all times

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, club, or hotel experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays/plates safely
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
