Job descriptionIntegrity Bio, Inc. (IBI) is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician who will work under minimal guidance, perform and demonstrate technical expertise in support of facility equipment/systems, utility systems, and ensures systems operate within designed parameters. The delegated responsibility may include supporting multiple facilities, disciplines or clients. All work will require adherence to regulatory and compliance to various statutory bodies of law related to bio-pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities:
The position requires planning and execution of daily operations including, corrective action, and preventative maintenance activities in a reliable and compliant manner. This includes, but is not limited to, maintenance and emergency repair of all production related process equipment and facility equipment, HVAC, and utilities systems. The typical systems/equipment are electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical (hydrostatic pressure, compressed air, etc).
With minimal guidance:
Manage maintenance operations of systems/equipment. Perform preventative maintenance of critical systems/equipment. Perform facility maintenance such as replacing lightbulbs, painting, simple plumbing etc.
Proactively interact with various support departments and/or outside vendors to support production goal.
Evaluate current maintenance procedures and make appropriate changes to optimize the maintenance program.
All work requires following the prescribed instructions and policy guidelines of IBI. Requires the ability to read and understand the instructions and adhere to the regulations.
Participate in On-Call rotations for after-hours facility and manufacturing support and may work outside of established shift hours upon short notice
Requirements
GMP Facility maintenance experience preferred.
HVAC experience preferred.
Calibration experience preferred.
Microsoft Office skills. Other related software knowledge preferred.
Verbal and written communication skills.
CAD knowledge preferred.
Physical Requirements
Subject to extended periods of sitting and/or standing in a warehouse or office environment. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
