LPN-Licensed Practical Nurse Position

Duties:

- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assist with patient assessments and examinations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Provide patient education on various health topics
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with medical coding standards and regulations
- Perform basic medical procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheterization
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as cardiac catheterization and sonography
- Maintain sterile processing techniques for equipment and supplies

Skills:

- Valid LPN license in the state of NC
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including children and individuals with behavioral health needs
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of medical coding standards and documentation requirements
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
