Veterinary Assistant

Johnson Animal Clinic is a busy small animal clinic in Hikes Point seeking a Veterinary Assistant who enjoys a fast-paced environment. We are privately owned and take pride in our family-like atmosphere. We aspire to be a practice where as a team, we make a positive impact on pet health care in our community. 

Duties would include but are not limited to: Assisting doctors and technicians in exam rooms by safely holding pets, preparing prescriptions, assisting the front desk staff by answering phones, expected to be pleasant, patient, courteous and polite to clients and team members, cleaning all areas of the clinic including kennels etc. willingness to learn, must be able to lift and carry patients as heavy as 50lbs. Must have reliable transportation. Previous experience is preferred. 

Seeking someone who has a can-do attitude and exhibits excellent customer service skills.  Experience preferred.

Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8am-6pm (closed 12:30-1:30 for lunch) Saturdays 8am-12pm, Closed most holidays (Christmas/eve, Thanksgiving, New Years, 4th July, Labor/Memorial Day)
