As an award-winning boutique hotel, The Inn at Willow Grove provides guests with an unsurpassed luxury experience. Vintage Restaurant is seeking a professional Fine Dining Maître d’ to join our restaurant team. Our staff consists of guest service-oriented individuals who are energetic, organized, methodical and can work both as a team player and independently towards one goal - maximum guest satisfaction. Evening hours beginning at 3pm with possible days. Compensation: Salary begins at $15 - $17 (commensurate with experience). Full time.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Professional and gracious communication via email, phone, and in person with our guests.

Receive and record dining reservations, or respond to general inquiries, via telephone or the online reservation system. Resy.com

Table management, organizing the evening's floor plan, controlling the flow of the dining room, and constantly communicating with managers as to when tables are needed back for the next reservations.

Seat guests as needed to ensure reservation times are met and guests are treated appropriately.

Always do your best to accommodate guests’ requests. Anticipate and meet the guests’ needs before they are requested.

Actively communicates with the front of the house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) staff and management to guarantee all guests are taken care of.

Interacts with people beyond giving and receiving instructions, particularly in resolving Guest complaints.

Data Entry

Complete daily logbook, daily reports, and other tasks as assigned by the Food and Beverage Director

Assist the Food & Beverage Director with various tasks

Exude and instill exemplary Hospitality standards at all times

Provide engaged, friendly, and attentive customer service to all guests, inclusive of eye contact, respectful conversation, and smiling

Maintains the ambiance of the restaurant to include lighting, music, cleanliness, and hygiene.
Qualifications:

2 or more years Resort Hotel/Restaurant Host, Maître d’ or serving/bartending experience preferred

This position requires open availability, efficiency, and punctuality.

Able to work unsupervised efficiently and organized

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, etc.
