Job Summary

We believe our Booze Crew is the core of the experience and culture at The Boozy Mutt. We are looking for hard working, self-motivating, team focused, and dog loving people to join our crew.

As a Rufferee, your primary responsibility is ensuring that the standards of safety and cleanliness in the bar and park are maintained at all times. You will monitor the dogs as they play and intervene when necessary to prevent unwanted behavior. Training will be provided. You will also be responsible to clean up after the dogs including all excrement and any additional messes dogs or humans may cause on premise . You will clean the park area and help bus/clean tables when more than one Rufferee is on duty. You will also be responsible for ensuring clean, fresh water is always available for all dogs throughout the park – no one should ever ask for water for their dog! The person in this role should love working with dogs, be friendly towards the guests, and have the ability to give food and beverage recommendations as necessary. This person should also be a continuous learner and open to feedback to improve dog and guest handling. This person should also feel comfortable interjecting and resolving guest/dog conflict in a respectful, appropriate, prompt way to ensure the environment of The Boozy Mutt remains safe, positive, and guest (human and dog!) focused. Must be willing and able to assist in other bar/restaurant functions as needs arise, not limited to opening, closings, and overall cleaning duties.

The Rufferee is a big part of our overall customer experience. We expect that you will interact with the dogs in a positive and fun manner. It is also expected that you maintain a pleasant disposition, assist guests who may be unsure of how to navigate the facility, and communicate rules to guests as needed to ensure compliance in a positive way. Lastly, it is expected that you will learn the names of our regular customers and their dogs and greet them by name.
