Pay: $16 - $18/hour
Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
Days Off: Monday & Tuesday
Position: Seasonal Full-Time, October–March, with potential for year-round employment

About the Position

Rocky Mountain Ski + Sport is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and tech-comfortable eCom Development & Fulfillment Specialist to help grow and manage our online business.

This is a hands-on position combining e-commerce development, product listings, photography, order fulfillment, inventory, and customer service. On any given day, you may be creating Shopify listings, photographing ski equipment, improving product descriptions and SEO, packing online orders, correcting inventory, or helping customers on the retail floor.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, pays close attention to details, and can move between projects without needing constant direction.

This position is seasonal from October through March, with the potential to become a full-time, year-round position based on job performance and company needs.

What You'll Do

• Create and maintain product listings in Shopify

• Photograph new and used products for online sale

• Write and edit product descriptions, specifications, pricing, and SEO content

• Ensure product photos, variants, sizing, pricing, and inventory are accurate

• Organize online collections, categories, filters, and merchandising

• Identify products that need to be added to or improved on our website

• Help improve the overall online shopping experience

• Pick, pack, and ship online orders accurately and efficiently

• Assist customers with online orders, returns, exchanges, and questions

• Help maintain accurate online and physical inventory

• Assist with receiving, tagging, organizing, and merchandising products

• Help with basic digital marketing, graphics, or social content when needed

• Assist customers on the retail sales floor during busy periods 

• Support other store operations as business needs arise

What We're Looking For

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly

• Shopify or similar e-commerce experience preferred

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong writing, typing, and communication skills

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and product data

• Comfortable taking pictures on an iPhone or basic camera and editing product photography in Canva or similar photo editing tool

• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects

• Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities

• Comfortable interacting directly with customers in a retail store environment

• Willing to transition between e-commerce work, fulfillment, and the retail sales floor as needed

Ski and snowboard knowledge is a plus, but e-commerce skills, organization, attention to detail, customer service, and the ability to learn are more important.

Bonus Points For

• Shopify experience

• SEO or product-page optimization experience

• Google Sheets or Excel experience

• Shipping or fulfillment software experience

• Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, or similar editing experience

• Product photography experience

• Experience managing large online product catalogs

• Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment

• Experience selling used or one-of-a-kind inventory online

Schedule & Remote Work

The regular schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, with Monday and Tuesday off.

This is primarily an in-person position. After completing the first 60 days of employment, some responsibilities may be eligible to be completed remotely from home based on performance, job responsibilities, and company needs.

Remote work is not guaranteed, and this position must remain available to work in-store as needed.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to stand for periods of 2+ hours, regularly move throughout the store and fulfillment areas, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

We're looking for someone who enjoys e-commerce but isn't looking to sit behind a computer all day. The right person will be equally comfortable building a Shopify listing, packing an order, photographing a snowboard, solving an inventory problem, or stepping onto the sales floor to help a customer.
