Human Resources Generalist
Illinois Orthopedic Network, PLLC is seeking for a skilled full-time Human Resource Generalist to support the HR department's daily operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hiring staff, administering payroll, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Lead and support talent acquisition efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Administer health and welfare benefit programs, including renewals, changes, communications, and billing reconciliation.
- Process and administer payroll accurately and on time in compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Partner with HR Admin to ensure accuracy in reporting, compliance, and data management
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 1+ years of human resource management experience preferred.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST
As an HR Generalist, you are a valuable member of the HR team. You will support the HR daily functions. You process payroll and ensure accuracy with reporting, compliance and data. You will work closely with the Finance department to ensure accuracy with payroll. You will assist with employee benefits, onboarding, offboarding and assist in projects as assigned by the CEO/CFO/ HR Director.
