Immediate Opening for Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef at TeeBox Indoor Golf Club in Cave Creek
TeeBox Indoor Golf Club seeking a passionate and creative Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef to lead the culinary team at our first location in Cave Creek, AZ. As the Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, menu planning, food quality, and working with our FOH management and staff on continuous training to ensure an exceptional guest experience in our beautiful facility.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and exceptional guest service.
- Develop and implement creative and innovative menu offerings that are in line with the best golf clubs in the marketplace and meet the needs of our valued members and guests.
- Manage food and labor costs to ensure desired business results.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Build relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the best quality ingredients are sourced at fair market value.
- Train and develop culinary staff on menu items, food preparation techniques, overall kitchen operational functions, proper food handling and safety procedures.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for all team members in the back and front of the house.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality establishment.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a culinary team, create, and implement menus, and manage food and labor costs.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food preparation, and presentation.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- A positive attitude, excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills is a must.
- Passion for food, creativity, and a desire to continuously improve culinary offerings for our members and guests.
- A degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred, but not required.
