Smokin’ Jack BBQ — Cook (Wisconsin Center & Panther Arena)

Status: Part-time (29 hrs/week)

About the role
We’re hiring energetic Cooks for our high-volume, fun, fast-paced outlets inside the Wisconsin Center and Panther Arena. If you move with urgency, love a busy line, and take pride in cranking out consistent, great food—this is for you.

What you’ll do

• Execute line production during events and service at volume and speed

• Prep, portion, and set stations to spec; maintain par levels during rushes

• Cook menu items to standard with consistent quality and plating

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols (keep it clean and organized)

• Communicate with the team and leadership to keep tickets flowing

• (Nice to have) Operate POS for simple transactions as needed

What you bring

• 1+ year kitchen experience in a high-volume or quick-serve environment

• Reliable, coachable, and able to thrive under pressure

• Strong knife skills, station organization, and sense of urgency

• POS experience a plus (not required)

• Availability: nights, weekends, and some holidays

• Flexibility to work event-driven schedules (you’ll know your shifts ahead of time)

• $18/hour

• 29 hours/week (part-time), event-based scheduling with flexibility
