Citizen House - Bartender

Position Summary

Citizen House is seeking a professional, energetic, and hospitality-driven Bartender to join our team. Our bartenders do more than serve drinks — they create elevated guest experiences. This role requires attention to detail, strong product knowledge, efficiency under pressure, and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a high-end environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
• Deliver warm, attentive, and personalized service to every guest
• Maintain full knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and menu offerings
• Ensure bar setup, cleanliness, and organization before, during, and after shifts
• Handle cash, tabs, and POS transactions accurately
• Monitor guest consumption and uphold responsible alcohol service standards
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and liquor laws
• Restock and prep bar supplies as needed
• Support team members to ensure smooth and seamless service

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred (high-volume or upscale environment a plus)
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and beer
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Lift up to 30 lbs
• Work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
