Position: Gastroenterologist

Location: Southwest Georgia

Progressive healthcare system is looking to add a full-time Gastroenterologist to their established practice. Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers in a state-of-the-art facility featuring two new endoscopy suites.

Requirements:

• Completion or upcoming completion of gastroenterology fellowship
• Board-certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years) 
• Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact

Practice Highlights:

• Supportive medical community, with only a short walk from Gastroenterology clinic to main hospital
  
• Clinic schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
• Weekly duties split between outpatient clinic and hospital-based endoscopy procedures
• Required call: 7 days/month, shared with general surgeons and fellow gastroenterologist, with extra pay available
• Opportunity to precept medical students and residents from nearby medical education programs
• Physicians’ lounge with meals provided
• 24-hour all-access employee gym
