Lube Technician
Job description
Key Qualifications:
-Ability to consistently deliver great customer experiences-no matter the situation.
-Ability to make sure each vehicle is safe for our customers to leave in.
Responsibilities
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil.
- Replaces oil and air filters.
- Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary.
- Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed.
- Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants.
- Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to service advisor.
- Ensures that customer cars are kept clean.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Keeps shop and work area neat and clean.

Requirements
· Some mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of automotive repairs.
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
· Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, stretch, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
· Must be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull and handle products.
· Valid driver’s license with dependable transportation and a clean driving record.
· Must be 18 years of age or older.
· Must be able to read, write and speak English and read/interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Basic computer literacy
Reasoning Ability
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
