Job Description:
We’re looking for a charismatic, detail-oriented individual to be the face of Smokin' Jack BBQ at the service counter. As a Service Counter Rockstar, you’ll manage guest interactions, handle orders with precision, and ensure every customer leaves with a smile—and maybe a craving for more BBQ!

Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence:

• Greet every guest with enthusiasm and a friendly attitude.
• Answer menu questions and offer suggestions to enhance the guest experience.
• Provide exceptional service while ensuring all customer needs are met quickly and efficiently.

Order Management:

• Accurately take dine-in, takeout, and online orders via the POS system.
• Ensure all orders are packaged and delivered correctly to maintain quality and presentation standards.
• Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service.

Cash Handling & POS Operations:

• Handle payments (cash, credit, or digital) accurately and responsibly.
• Process refunds, voids, and discounts as needed, ensuring proper documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized POS area at all times.

Brand Representation:

• Be a brand ambassador by upholding Smokin' Jack BBQ’s values and mission in every guest interaction.
• Promote daily specials, new menu items, and merchandise to drive sales.

Organization & Cleanliness:

• Keep the service counter clean, stocked, and well-organized throughout the shift.
• Assist with light cleaning duties such as wiping counters, restocking supplies, and maintaining a welcoming dining area.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is a plus but not required.
• Positive attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using POS systems and handling money responsibly.
• Passion for BBQ and great food!
