Job Title: Partner Service Representative II
Reports to: Service Manager
Department: Partner Development

Summary:

Responsible for advancing Messenger International’s vision by passionately connecting partners and potential partners with our mission through strategic service and proactive communication.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Galvanize partners with the mission of Messenger International by sharing introductory information about our mission and ministry

·       Build sustained relationships and trust with our partners through open and proactive communication

·       Meet or exceed communication metrics in support of relationship goals

·       Conversationally gather, record, and verify partner contact information in CRM

·       Assist with individual donor stewardship including acknowledgement letters, thank you cards, partner appreciation gifts, and other communications via phone and email

·       Provide prayer, encouragement, and content recommendations to partners as applicable

·       Tailor standardized communications for our partners, where applicable, so partners feel valued and connected to Messenger International

·       Relay prayer requests, testimonies, and other partner messages to the appropriate team members

·       Support the reactivation of lapsed recurring gifts and inactive partners

·       Share partner feedback and/or survey information that would be valuable for updating and improving our current processes with supervisor

·       Propose and execute recognition programs that increase partner engagement

·       Other related work, as assigned

 

Education and/or Experience: 

·       High School Diploma, Two-year degree preferred

·       2+ years outbound customer service experience

·       1+ year experience working with donors preferred

 

General Qualifications:

·       Superior verbal and written communication skills

·       Reliable and dedicated work ethic

·       Proficient in basic computer skills and software applications (Word, Excel, Gmail, etc.)

·       Willing to work in variety of coordination and administrative roles

·       Must have the ability to utilize software platforms proficiently to document the number and content of partner communications

·       Able to multitask and prioritize high volume of tasks, correspondence, and deadlines

·       Has a heart for helping people with a cheerful demeanor

·       Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail

·       Relational, composed, results-oriented, and energetic

·       Able to work independently, take initiative, and problem solve

·       Collaborate well with others

Spiritual Requirements:

·       Signed acknowledgement of Messenger’s “Statement of Faith” and “Staff Covenant/Lifestyle Agreement” forms.

·       Signed acknowledgement to policies and procedures as stated in our employee handbook.

 

Physical Requirements:

·       Able to function independently

·       Possess the ability to speak

·       Has the physical ability to be able to lift up to 25 pounds (with or without assistance)

·       This position also may require long periods of sitting, standing up, and walking

 

Work Location:
Colorado Springs, CO. Must be able to present evidence of identity and legal right to work in the United States.

 

Job Type/Schedule:

Full-time, 40-hour work week with the potential for occasional overtime. This is a non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.
