Mechanical Insulator - Thermal Systems

TSMI is seeking motivated and dependable Mechanical Insulators to work on various projects primarily in Northern and Central California. Any skill level desired.

Primary Purpose:

• Responsible for installing insulation on all plumbing, mechanical, and process systems.

• Cut, fit and install various types of insulation, PVC, and metal on pipe, duct, and process equipment such as heat exchangers and tanks to help control noise and maintain temperatures

• Fit insulation around obstructions and shape insulating materials and protective coverings as required

• Measure and cut insulation for covering surfaces, using tape measures, handsaws, knives, and scissors

• Follow safety guidelines

• On the job training provided

• Needs reliable transportation as travel is required
