The League’s DeafLink Program is seeking a dedicated, hard-working and self-motivated Scheduler to join our team. This position is responsible for providing support services for DeatLink and its business customers, consumers and interpreters. The ideal candidate should have a strong work-ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and be motivated to serve our community. Prefer a qualified person with a disability and knowledge/experience with the deaf community.

Essential Duties/Skills/Responsibilities/Qualifications
· Answer and route routine phone calls.
· Enter interpreter requests into scheduling software, ensuring they are complete and accurate.
· Receive and record scheduling software requests for sign language interpreters.
· Ensure that interpreters used by DeafLink meet all the requirements for the jobs they are assigned.
· Communicate with business customers to confirm the availability of interpreters.
· Initiate business customer reminder contacts the day before scheduled interpreting services.
· Issue, file, log and maintain accurate purchase of service agreements (POSA).
· Conduct consumer and business customer surveys and record in accordance with DeafLink's "Measurement Framework".
· Inform consumers, businesses, government entities, and social service entities about DeafLink services and benefits.
· Maintain positive relationships with business customers, consumers, interpreters, League staff, and the general public.
· Assist with department reports by providing needed data.
· Perform clerical duties associated with the position.
· High school diploma or its equivalent. Prefer a qualified person with a disability. Prefer experience with Deaf culture/community and knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
