Guest Experience & Reservations Lead
(Lead Host / Door Lead / Hospitality Coordinator)

We are looking for someone to OWN the guest experience from the very first moment.
Grassa Gramma is one of Louisville’s most immersive and beloved restaurants — a high-energy Italian dining experience where guests feel transported straight into Italy. From the piazza atmosphere to the warm hospitality, our goal is simple:
Make every guest feel like they just walked into their Italian grandmother’s home.
We are looking for a charismatic, organized, hospitality-obsessed leader to run our front door operation five nights per week.
This position is ideal for someone who:

Compensation:
$18–$25+ per hour
(Pay based on experience, availability, professionalism, and leadership ability)
What You’ll Be Responsible For:

***Leading and owning the host stand experience

Managing reservations throughout the day using OpenTable

Maximizing seating opportunities and managing the reservation book strategically

***Greeting guests warmly and creating an unforgettable first impression

Managing waitlists, guest flow, and seating pacing

Answering phones and responding to guest inquiries professionally

Ensuring voicemails and missed calls are returned promptly
-
Passing large party and private event inquiries to our events team

Leading and managing the hourly host team

Maintaining a polished, organized, beautiful host stand
