(Lead Host / Door Lead / Hospitality Coordinator)

Grassa Gramma is one of Louisville’s most immersive and beloved restaurants — a high-energy Italian dining experience where guests feel transported straight into Italy. From the piazza atmosphere to the warm hospitality, our goal is simple:

Make every guest feel like they just walked into their Italian grandmother’s home.

We are looking for a charismatic, organized, hospitality-obsessed leader to run our front door operation five nights per week.

This position is ideal for someone who:

• Loves people and thrives in a high-energy environment

• Understands hospitality at a deep level

• Is highly organized and detail-oriented

• Can manage both guest experience AND reservation logistics

Compensation:
$18–$25+ per hour
(Pay based on experience, availability, professionalism, and leadership ability)

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• ***Leading and owning the host stand experience

• Managing reservations throughout the day using OpenTable

• Maximizing seating opportunities and managing the reservation book strategically

• ***Greeting guests warmly and creating an unforgettable first impression

• Managing waitlists, guest flow, and seating pacing

• Answering phones and responding to guest inquiries professionally

• Ensuring voicemails and missed calls are returned promptly

• Passing large party and private event inquiries to our events team

• Leading and managing the hourly host team

• Maintaining a polished, organized, beautiful host stand

• ***Helping ensure every guest leaves happy, welcomed, and excited to return
