Estimating Supervisor - Electronics Manufacturing

Our client is an established electronics contract manufacturer in Gardena that supports aerospace and defense programs. They are looking for a Quoting & Estimating Supervisor to lead their quote team, sharpen the bidding process, and deliver accurate, competitive bids that bring in new business.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop the quote team, including hiring decisions, training, and performance reviews
• Own the quoting process from opportunity identification through final submission
• Keep a high volume of RFQs moving at once while maintaining accuracy and on-time delivery
• Make sure every quote follows costing protocol and supports a profitable outcome
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Purchasing to gather what each bid needs
• Run open-RFQ review meetings with management and sales, and see deliverables through to completion
• Keep customers and internal teams informed during the bid process, and raise potential delays early
• Review bids before submission and support the handoff from bid stage to NPI
• Identify and drive improvements to the quoting process

What You Bring

• 2–4 years of estimating or quoting experience, ideally in electronics contract manufacturing (EMS)
• Up to 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing
• Working knowledge of the electronic component market and manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, technical drawings, and customer data
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, CRM, and ERP/MRP systems
• CalcuQuote experience is a strong plus
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to perform under tight deadlines
• Customer service experience in a manufacturing environment
• U.S. citizenship required due to aerospace and defense contract requirements

Work Environment
This is an office-based role, mostly seated with computer and phone use. It requires the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
