Morning Child Care Teacher

Introduction:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Preschool and School Age Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality education and care to young children. The Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, supervising and interacting with children, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that are age-appropriate and align with state and national standards

• Supervise and interact with children, including conducting individual and group activities, reading stories, and facilitating play

• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, including enforcing rules and policies and addressing any behavioral issues

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure continuity of care and services

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of high school diploma required, degree in a teaching related field preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a preschool teacher or in a similar role

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to multitask 

• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
