Diesel Mechanic

We’re currently hiring a Diesel Mechanic who aligns with these values and is ready to join a growing, mission-driven team.

As a Diesel Mechanic at CMC, you’ll maintain and repair diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment used across our job sites. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our fleet is safe, reliable, and compliant, playing a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues

• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure fleet compliance

• Maintain clear and accurate service and repair records

• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace

• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate vehicle readiness

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic (construction fleet preferred)

• Working knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems

• CDL and/or ASE certifications preferred but not required

• Ability to read manuals and interpret schematics

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
