Position Summary

To assist the warehouse supervisor in the shipping of stock within the warehouse by ensuring that all stock is accounted for, processed, and packed to meet company standards. This position involves getting materials ready for jobs and completing customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory counts.
• Fulfill specific and ongoing inventory as needed.
• Verify product count and accuracy based off the pick ticket.
• Prepare orders for processing by pulling materials, packing boxes, and proper staging.
• Maintain an orderly and safe work area.
• Acquire knowledge of and adhere to company policies, maintain empathy and tact.
• Assist with customer pick-ups.
• Zone picking areas from overstock.
• Receive in shipments and reconcile product counts against packing slip or bill of lading.
• Lift and move building materials and load/ unload trucks.
• Store product in designated spaces.
• Assist with inventory receiving as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One or more years of relevant experience within a warehouse setting
• Must have the ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Operate a fork truck/ lift.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
• Ability to work in an environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.

Schedule:

• 10-hour shift
• Days
• Monday to Friday
