General Labor/Sorter - Waste Management & Organics Operations

Location: Ontario, CA

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | Weekly Pay

Shift: 1st and 2nd, Overtime 

Pay: $17 per hour.

Overtime: as needed during high-volume days

Weekends: Must be able to work alternate Saturdays

Environment: Outdoors, strong odors (organics/perishables)

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate organic/perishable materials for recycling

• Work in wet, smelly, and outdoor environments

• Handle materials manually; lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs throughout the shift

• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE (steel-toe rubber boots, gloves, vest)

• Support machine operators and yard staff as needed (basic-level equipment exposure; company will train)

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience with conveyor lines, sorting tables, or basic production equipment

• Willingness to learn new processes and cross-train
