We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fertilization Applicator to join our team. The Fertilization Applicator will be responsible for safely and accurately applying fertilizers and other crop inputs to fields according to prescribed plans. This role requires proficiency in operating application equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records.


**Key Responsibilities:**

- Operate fertilizer application equipment, such as spreaders, sprayers, and injection systems, in a safe and efficient manner.

- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other crop inputs to fields according to established schedules and application rates.

- Ensure proper calibration of equipment to achieve accurate and uniform application of fertilizers and other inputs.

- Follow all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements related to chemical handling, application, and disposal.

- Monitor weather conditions, field conditions, and equipment performance to optimize application efficiency and minimize environmental impact.

- Maintain accurate records of application activities, including product usage, field locations, and application rates.

- Communicate effectively with supervisors,  and other team members to coordinate application activities and address any issues or concerns.

- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of application equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent downtime.

- Participate in training programs and continuing education opportunities to stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements.


**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or vocational training preferred).

- Previous experience operating agricultural equipment, preferably in fertilizer or chemical application.

- Knowledge of basic agronomic principles and crop production practices.

- Ability to read and interpret maps, application instructions, and safety guidelines.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.

- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Commercial applicator license or certification (may be required depending on state regulations). MUST BE LICENSED
