Phlebotomist

We are a rapid growing clinical laboratory seeking a reliable and experienced phlebotomist who takes pride in their work and is passionate about patient care. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of phlebotomy experience with at least 6 months of experience in geriatric or difficult blood draws. This position will start out in a clinic setting for approx. 6 weeks and then transition to a mobile phlebotomy role. The mobile phlebotomist will drive the course of a predetermined route or as assigned to draw blood from elderly or compromised patients in a variety of settings. 

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Traveling to assigned location(s) to collect patient samples
• Properly verify patient identity and label specimens appropriately
• Process specimens and prepare for transport to laboratory
• With strong attention to detail completely, and accurately complete all logs and documentation prior to end of shift
• Follow all company policies, infection control, OSHA & HIPPA guidelines

• Strong attention to detail
• Superior bedside manner
• Ability to pass drug screen
