Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. As a Controller, you will play a critical role in managing the accounting department, preparing financial statements, and providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Must be familiar with construction WIP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.

• Manage general ledger accounting, ensuring all entries are recorded in compliance

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.

• Conduct account reconciliation to maintain accuracy in financial records.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation to ensure all accounts are properly accounted for.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.

• Implement and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.

• Utilize financial software to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar role within the finance department.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including compliance.

• Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis.

• Experience with account reconciliation processes and balance sheet management.

• Familiarity with various financial software applications to enhance efficiency in reporting and analysis.

• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
