Bartender - Flamingo Crossings Town Center - Part time / Full time

Persimmon Hollow Brewing Company is a rapidly growing craft brewery, Based in beautiful historic DeLand, in the heart of Central Florida. Our award-winning craft beers are beloved throughout Central Florida and our ever-growing distribution network. We will be soon opening our newest location at Flamingo Crossings.  Our newest brewery and taproom will be opening soon and now is a great opportunity to begin your career at Persimmon Hollow!

Bartender Job Responsibilities:

• Provides a pleasant drinking experience to guests.
• Serves beer while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area.
• Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
• Coordinates daily supply inventory for bar and submits orders to supervisor; assists with receipt of deliveries.
• Ensures smooth operation of bar services.
• Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing as needed.
• Assists with orienting new employees to their work area.
• Listens to guest complaints and suggestions and resolves complaints.
• Instructs personnel in use of new equipment and cleaning methods and provides efficient and effective methods of maintaining work area.
• Participates in and/or contributes to programs, committees, or projects designed to improve quality of service and employee productivity.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one (1) year of bar or restaurant experience to include drink preparation.
• Current beverage service certification or other certification as required by federal/state/local law.  Will administer training if needed.
• Familiar with point-of-sale computers and software.
