Job Title: Meeting Action Officer - Project Manager
Location: Remote
Job Description: Support the Federal Electronic Health Records Modernization (FEHRM) office. Serve as the point of responsibility for orchestrating organizational inputs and developing content for key senior-level meetings. Perform technical editing/ writing on a wide-range of materials to include briefings, long-form word documents, memorandums, and other official correspondence. Develop action trackers and bring those actions to closure working across the organization. Escalate risks and issues to leadership. Ensure logistical success of key meetings. Help to ‘connect dots’ with pertinent details from multiple meetings and artifacts reviewed. Create meeting minutes, executive summaries, and briefs. Finalize all artifacts for senior consumption; review and provide feedback as appropriate. Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents to codify processes.
Minimum qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional work experience
- Strong technical editing/ writing background, attention to detail and ability to manage several work products simultaneously
- Skilled in PowerPoint/Adobe/Excel/Word
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to create process improvements and communicate them to the team via Visio/PowerPoint
- Prior experience in task and project management support
- Able to identify and mitigate risks
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline, or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of the DOD (preferable)/VA correspondence processes
- Prior experience as an Action Officer
