Hotel Front Desk Agent
**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused **Front Desk Agent** to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service, handle check-in/check-out procedures smoothly, and ensure a welcoming experience throughout each guest’s stay.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
* Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accurate entry of information
* Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and make reservations
* Manage room assignments and accommodate guest preferences when possible
* Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and courteously, escalating as needed
* Process payments, issue room keys, and maintain guest accounts
* Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and travel directions
* Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
* Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
* Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
**Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality experience preferred
* Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles a plus
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems; knowledge of \[PMS system, e.g., Opera or Cloudbeds] is a plus
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure
